Welcome
Hello and welcome to Shane Worton's photographic website. I'm a photographer from Dover, Kent and began taking photographs as a hobby four years ago. I am a member of Gateway Camera Club, and have won a number of awards with them. Please have a look at the images on show, which I hope illustrate my diversity as a photographer.
My main interest lies in wildlife photography, weddings, family portraits and studio based portfolios. I offer very competitive rates, so please look at the commissions section of the site and contact me via email if you're interested.
2007 was a successful year for me: I developed an interest in macro photography and motor sport, which I found both challenging and rewarding; I was commissioned by HMF (Army) to take promotional shots for the local regiment’s brochures and completed several weddings and studio commissions.
I love working with the Big Cats. With wildlife in mind, I have travelled far and wide: I have worked in an array of wildlife centres in the UK; been Brown Bear watching in Finland and have been on safari in Kenya. In April 2008 I'm off to India to watch, and hopefully photograph, wild tigers and the other wildlife that India has to offer. Any sales from this site will most definitely go towards paying for the trip! Be sure to pop back again in May 2008 to view the photographs taken.
